Hullo there, I'm Adam

I always thought I was going to end up living in the jungle, but after many years of that here I am living in front of my computer! But I am enjoying what I can do from here to help support conservationists all over the world (some of whom do live in jungles) to save more wildlife.

My favourite part of the world is the Terai jungles of Nepal, where I had many happy adventures running away from various large animals. I also have a big soft spot for the sea turtles of Greece and Sri Lanka, who put me on my path to helping save wildlife.

I live with my family in Cornwall where there is not much forest or wildlife (yet) but there is an amazing sea to mess around in when I get the chance.

So excited to help support and be a part of this community.

Executive Director, WildTeam UK

I help run a UK charity that builds the capacity of conservationists to plan, implement, monitor, and report on their work. I also have a fair bit of experience in tiger and sea turtle conservation.

Welcome Adam! Perhaps you also recognise yourself in the term a "conservationist conservationist"? (See Jessie's intro here). I look forward to hearing more about your jungle adventures running away from various large animals!
