My name is Kiran and I am an Associate Programme Officer within the Business and Biodiversity Programme.
Prior to my role, I was at DICE (Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology), hosted at the University of Kent, completing my MSc in Conservation Biology. My research project was on assessing attitudes towards wildlife-friendly farming certification in Japan by concentrating on rice as a product. The photo here is taken in Fukushima prefecture, when I interviewed rice farmers about their attitudes towards a wildlife-friendly certification.
I hope to use the skills and theoretical knowledge from this course within my my current role and future projects which I may manage.
