Project management training workshop - Week 2
Details for week 2 of this PMWC training workshop
Hello,
It feels good to have started this online training workshop and was lovely to meet most of you in the live sessions yesterday. Thank you for all your contributions and questions.
Something we are always seeking to do through our online workshops is to gain all the advantages which this teaching medium gives, for example learning at flexible times, at your own pace and from anywhere in the world, while not losing the best elements of class-based teaching, for example networking opportunities and making participants feel part of a community. The great thing now is that we are able to re-create much of the classroom experience with some brilliant technological tools.
By speaking ‘face-to-face’ during the Zoom live sessions we can chat and get to know each other (better than you do already!), while the message board offers the opportunity for people to share their stories and experiences, outside the time-constraints of the live sessions, and so for us all to learn more about each-other.
Within the shared Google folder there is a sub folder called ‘Week 2’, here. Within this folder you will find one video and one pdf presentation, both about PMWC Principles. It is a short one this week! If you have time, perhaps read the Principles chapter of the PMWC manual to help you learn, or get a discussion going on the message board.
The second live session will be at 2pm BST on the 16th April. We will start on time, however, if you can’t make it for the start of the session then please do join in when you can, even if just for the last half hour we will be happy to see your faces there.
Here is a link to the highest level folder again that all the other folders are nested within. Adding this folder to your Google Drive is the easiest way to navigate around the files. If you are having trouble finding the classroom exercises Google sheet, here is a direct link.
If you have any questions please get in touch via email or on here.
Warm wishes,
Beth
