Through this channel, she has been creating awareness and sensitizing people on the environment, climate change, and how best it can be mitigated or adapted. She is deeply passionate about educating and empowering people on climate change and sustainable environment.

Nice to e-meet you. Iβd like to know more about your professional journey. Why did you decide to explore a career in sustainability?
Ojajune: "Hello Ussi, thank you for your message, and nice to e-meet you! I am dedicated to improving people's actions toward climate change and sustainable development goals in part because of my background in forestry.
I have further advanced my knowledge and expertise in the field of climate change and sustainability by taking several online courses and participating in various climate change fellowships, including Climate Leadership Fellowship Nigeria, Oxford School of Climate Change, Climate Education Leaders Fellowship, and Climate Actors Accelerator program hosted by Sustainable Development Solutions Youth Network, Nigeriaπ³π¬
My work in climate education has been recognized, and I have received many certifications after carrying out several projects. I am a member of YOUNGO, IFSA, Climate Education Coalition, Alumni of the Young African Leadership Initiative, and a global volunteer.Β

What are some of your day-to-day responsibilities?
Ojajune: " I am committed to strengthening the resilience of people and creating a sustainable environment for future generations. I accomplish this with teamwork, together, we can create a sustainable future for ourselves and future generations.

Ojajune: A colleague of mine told me about WildHub and I joined because I love to connect with other climate champions, learn from their experiences, and share my work in climate education so far.

Based on your professional background, what are the top 5 lessons you can share with us?
Ojajune:Β
- The importance of climate education can be shared, emphasizing how climate education promotes environmental sustainability and mitigates climate change. Awareness is raised and people are sensitized to the environment, climate change, and how best to mitigate or adapt to its impact through my work.
- The need for collaboration can be emphasized, as my experience of participating in various climate change fellowships and networking with other climate champions to promote climate education and environmental sustainability can be shared.
- Technology can be harnessed to promote climate education and raise awareness of environmental issues. The "TalkclimateAfrica" educational channel demonstrates the valuable role of technology in climate education by reaching out to people who prefer listening to music and spoken words.
- The importance of grassroots mobilization can be emphasized, as the experience of reaching out to different audiences through school outreach, environmental awareness campaigns, and my podcast channelΒ
- The need for leadership and action can be emphasized. My work as a Nigerian climate change champion has helped to inspire others to take action towards environmental sustainability.Β

How does your work impact other people in conservation?
Ojajune: My work in climate education helps to raise awareness, sensitize people, and inspire action towards environmental sustainability. The focus on promoting climate education, grassroots mobilization, and collaboration can serve as a model for others working in conservation to make a positive impact on the environment.
