About the Program:
MyQuest’s objective is to provide a holistic development platform for young people as well as provide a lifelong, continuous learning opportunity to disadvantaged youth. We use content, pedagogy and technology, to drive the delivery of teaching and learning. Through our signature blended learning approach we develop critical life-work skills that are critical for success in the 21st century. Our curriculum includes media elements like games, videos, audio, and visuals as well as the use of dictionaries for vernacular translations.
The Program Coordinator - Green Initiatives will be part of QUEST Alliance’s Youth Employability program - Youth Program and will be responsible to anchor the green career initiatives, S/he will play an important role to anchor in achieving its end goal which is to help young people develop green mindset, action and pursue green careers. S/he will be responsible for developing strategy for the organization as well as execution, engagements and collaborations with different stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design Strategy and Implementation Green Initiatives at the organisation and program level.
Using a constructive approach, designing and developing the strategy for green initiatives across the state or region to understand the need, opportunities and challenges.Initiate and implement green initiatives at Partners across ITI & VTI.Support program team and provide mentorship and ongoing support.Build capacity of the program team.Provide technical support and anchor research around green initiatives
Anchoring, Coordinating and Executing Green Career Initiatives at the program level.
Ensuring support to program implementation partners to organize Green initiatives activities effectively and monitoring the same.Building capacity of program team and of program implementation partners to plan and execute green initiatives related activities at their institutes.Planning and organizing trainings for trainersMaking an annual plan and calendar of green initiatives such as initiating Green pilots, Green Mindset, Green Institution, Green Career and entrepreneurship by collaborating with various teams.Planning and Conducting Industry and Employer engagement events Including placement fairs on green jobs.
Relationship Management - Stakeholders (Internal and External)
Building an active working relationship with representatives of Government, Industry bodies or employers, NGO partners, ITIs etc.Building a robust database of partners, employers, agencies by networking with them to make it available to program implementation partners.Co-create and adhere to team norms, vision, learning goals and strategic plans of MyQuest Facilitator and Content Development team
Reporting
Support in data collection, impact assessment and content development initiatives of Facilitator and Content Development teamParticipate and contribute in team meetings and reviews, staff engagement activities.Support all reporting requirements such as quarter reviews, annual reviews
Skills Required:
Atleast 3-4 years of relevant experience in undertaking or managing green initiatives, preferably in youth employability space. Preferably having a good understanding of the ESG space and technical aspects of Green.Knowledge of liasioning and working with multi stakeholders and partnership management.Able to manage and work with teams from across different geographies.Experience of working & training of trainers and youths on green careers and initiatives.Good computer skillsMust be able to work to meet the needs and targets of the program.

Must be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the program.Willing to undertake external visits & should be open to traveling across the countryMust be a team player and be able to negotiate and consult with all those engaged internally and externally on green initiatives.
Salary: The pay band for the position starts at Rs. 64,000/- per month (cost to company) (The salary offered will be commensurate with the experience and expertise of the candidate)
