This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at the Environmental Justice Foundation: one of the world's leading non-profits working at the intersection of environmental conservation and human rights.

The Oceans Officers will provide essential support to the EJF Oceans team by developing and coordinating a national network of academics, civil society groups, and journalists in Mozambique who are actively working on, or interested in working on, the issues posed to the country by distant-water industrial fishing vessels. Such issues will include illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing and associated abuses such as forced labour.

The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the active sharing of knowledge and information throughout the network and mediate between its members and the broader body of actors working to address IUU fishing and associated abuses.

Apply by November 30th!
