CoalitionWILD's Global Mentorship Programme pairs emerging conversation leaders with environmental veterans for a virtual, 12-month guided intergenerational exchange. Apply to be a mentor or mentee by 30 May 2020.

CoalitionWILD is building collaborative and cross generational relationships between emerging environmental leaders and veteran conservationists.

The CoalitionWILD Global Mentorship Programme provides sustained engagement, avenues to build confidence and capability, opportunities to learn from challenges and celebrate successes, and works to bridge the gap between generations. Their Mentorship Programme is about a collaborative and equal partnership between participants built on mutual trust and respect.

Participants in the Programme are not required to complete a project, task, or reports. Rather, both the Mentor and Mentee will be encouraged to set personal and professional goals for their 12-month experience in the programme with their partner during their first two meetings. CoalitionWILD will place an emphasis on co-learning, co-creating, and co-mentoring throughout the programme, highlighting the importance of cross-generational interactions and conversations.

My background is mainly in species conservation, education and capacity development. I researched mother-young interactions in gorillas and chimpanzees, in captivity and the wild. After that, I worked for three years in Indonesia, where I developed and implemented youth ambassador and community engagement programmes on local and regional scales. I work as Community Manager at WildHub since 2020, and I am an Associate Member of the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE) at the University of Kent where I obtained my PhD on capacity development for conservation in 2022.
