Hello, My name is Sóstenes, but you can call me Sósti. I am from Brazil, where I did my graduate and Master's degrees. I did my graduation from the University of Santo Amaro, where I studied how climate change will affect four species of threatened frogs in Brazil. Also, I did my master’s degree in wildlife conservation from the University Federal de São Carlos and São Paulo’s Zoo, where I studied how climate change can affect a community of snakes in a river Basin in Brazil. I have been working for more than 10 years with wildlife, principally with the management of wildlife in situ for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), I have worked in different biomes, such as forests (Amazon rain forest, and Atlantic Forest), savannas (Cerrado and Caatinga), and Pampa. But, I have worked with ecological niche models and built maps with GIS platforms as well. I am interested in wildlife conservation, field research, zoology and ecology. Currently, I am living in Dublin (Ireland) to improve my English and I am working on ecological niches models for snakes in a South American basin.
