I've just completed a MSc in Conservation Biology at the University of Kent and now considering my next step either in work or further research. I looking forward to connecting with like-minded and inspiring people here.
I am particularly interested in African conservation and ecology, in particular I want to learn more about the central African rainforest, its biodiversity, ecosystem services and conservation issues.

Hi Doug! Great to re-connect here on WildHub: welcome! What would you ideal job look like?
PS congrats on achieving your MSc degree! Amazing work!
Hi Thirza,
Thanks! Yes its an achievement! I'm chuffed with myself. To be honest I'm uncertain about what my ideal job looks like, I am currently applying for PhD positions as they are by far the most interesting next step. But I need to earn some money too, as can't live off a stipend. So I am looking for part time work in my previous industry (pharmaceutical) in the hope that can support me during the PhD.
What are your thoughts on PT work during a PhD?
Doug
