I am Giedre (call me Gaia), from Lithuania but living in Denmark for the last nine years. Here I earned a bachelor's degree in environmental management and a master's degree in nature management from the university of Copenhagen. My interest in nature is broad and I love being a generalist, but this has not helped me finding a job. I have mostly worked with insects and forest ecosystems, as well as I have been involved in a rewilding project. Yesterday was a big day for me, since my first scientific article was published on Forest Ecology and Management (sorry, I am just too excited not to mention this! :D ). I am looking to improve my skillset by joining this course and I look very much forward to learning with you and from you, everyone.
