Hello all,
My name is Carolyn Postlethwaite and I am a Trainee Outreach Officer with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust with their Making a Buzz for the Coast project, which is based in North Kent, UK! My role consists mainly of helping to run engagement to get people excited and knowledgeable about Kent's rare bumblebees, as well as carrying out bee and plant surveys, practical habitat management, providing advice to landowners etc...
This is my first proper job in the conservation sector after finishing my BSc in Wildlife Conservation with a Year in Professional Practice in May with the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE) at University of Kent.

I'm super excited to improve my understanding of project management so I can better support, and perhaps eventually manage, projects effectively in my early career and beyond. I also really look forward to virtually meeting you all around the globe!
