Hello everyone!

This is Karen 🙂

I am a new member of this incredible community where I am sure I will find many heroes of the earth, with whom I seek to learn, listen and share spaces of conversation.

I was born in Mexico, but I have also lived in Colombia more recently. This particular stage of my life made me develop a huge interest in nature, especially in projects focused on the conservation of nature and species. During my master's degree I managed to specialize in sustainability and gender issues, particularly from the perspective of international cooperation and development. More recently I have been truly interested in crowdfunding and partnership management.

Currently I work in a start-up called Lemu, in which we seek to finance and give visibility to different conservation and nature restoration projects. During my career I have been able to talk to many organizations and this has made me develop an immense bond and interest in their daily challenges, achievements and goals.
