My background is Computer Science, but my career is Conservation. My name is Amani Ngoma, from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

During the Conservation Leadership Course I had last month, many of my mates testified that this is the Community every conservationist (practitioner or researcher) should join. And I had the curiosity to have a look.
For the different publications, I found my interest and asked to join.

I look forward to sharing knowledge. Because I joined the community, I feel home.

A warm welcome to the community, Amani! I really like and appreciate your words "Because I joined the community, I feel home." I may use your quote sometime when I'm presenting our community at events, would that be okay with you?

A warm welcome to you Amani, I'm glad WildHub is home to you. Can you please share some of the ways you've applied GIS principles in your conservation journey?

Welcome to WildHub Amani!

I work in a community conservation project in Bolivia to protect the Andean Bear and lead a small team of committed volunteers. I have been thinking about leadership for the past few months since I applied to a master's program and a question from one of the universities kept on my mind. What are your main leadership challenges in your context (could be your project or your country)? I would love to know your opinion about it.
