Today at the catalyst table I have brought you @Clinton Dandison  from Nigeria.

"World peace, or peace on Earth, is the concept of an ideal state of peace within and between all people and nations on Planet Earth. Different cultures, religions, philosophies and organizations have different ideas about the loss of biodiversity as entire species disappear due to war"

Clinton Dandison is a professional Digital marketer, Tech innovator and Program manager at Clean cooking. He is passionate about using technology to create a sustainable future we can all be proud of.

"Working towards sustainable peace is possible. It is a matter to decide to do so through our lifestyle by striving to be more responsible, accountable as agents of change in our communities"

I recently had an interview with Clinton, please find it below:

What is sustainability of Nature?

Clinton: "Sustainability of nature in simple terms means taking the required actions to conserve biodiversity, and promote climate friendly initiatives to leave a safer earth that generations to come can live freely in"

Ussi:👨🏽‍💻
How can we make nature sustainable?

Clinton: "We can make nature sustainable by having the right attitude, getting more knowledge about nature based solutions such as: planting trees, conserving energy… Also we have to be intentional about our lifestyle by striving to be more responsible, accountable as agents of change in our communities because it first starts with you"

Ussi:👨🏽‍💻
How did you hear about WildHub and why did you join?

Clinton: "I was invited by Dr Grace Alawa who is the Executive Director- Sustainable Actions for nature and I’m glad to be a part of this community and I’m already enjoying the warm acceptance"

Ussi:👨🏽‍💻
For someone who is leader in conservation, what are the top 5 lessons you can share with us?

Clinton👇🏼
📖"Hahahaha… I’m not such a leader in conservation but I can share a few lessons:

- It is important for us to understand that almost all social issues are inter-connected for example without peace we won’t be talking about wildlife conservation and protection so we should always embrace collaboration and new ideas.

-Sometimes while carrying out projects or initiatives we feel frustrated and think we are like a drop of water in the ocean and our work won’t matter or make any difference but I want to encourage someone that sometimes  it’s okay to feel defeated but always remember that there are millions of people out there just like you, trying to make a difference and you are not alone in the struggle.

Ussi:👨🏽‍💻
How does your work impact other people in conservation?

Clinton: "I have degrees and background in computer science,  I also have interest in Data mapping and analysis for public good, this helps in improving financing and making better decisions in conservation"

Ussi:👨🏽‍💻
Is there something that would make WildHub even better for you or people you know?

Clinton: "For now, I can say the WildHub is a great platform and I’m still getting more familiar with the website, if there are any suggestions or ideas I have in the future I won’t hesitate to share. I also think a mobile App for WildHub should be considered in the nearest future this will help promote more engagement within the network"

Ussi:👨🏽‍💻
Thanks, Clinton, for sharing your insights and wisdom with our WildHub members and many others around the world, I particularly like your perspective on that we are not alone in our challenges when working in wildlife conservation.
