Hello Helen,

Do you mean putting pictures and videos into posts on WildHub?

For pictures, you can use the picture icon on the toolbar just above where you enter the text, 7 from the right-hand side.

For videos, it is a bit more complicated as you need to get the embed text, here is a guide about how to do it: https://wildhub.community/posts/65440-can-i-embed-a-video-into-my-post

Let me know if I've misunderstood.

Hi Beth

I wouldn't say you've misunderstood, yes I do mean pictures and/or pdfs.  I'm pretty sure I've done what you've described, it just doesn't seem to work, it just ends up as a small blue square.

Hmmm, odd. Can you resize the blue dot? The Stanley Ferry Quarry post you posted worked. You can also upload a document, so go to contribute in the top right of WildHub and instead of "Create a post" go "Create a document".  If you jump on to the live session call early on Monday I'll see if I can help a bit better as then you can share your screen with me.

Hi Beth

Drat, I've only just read this, wish I'd come early yesterday.

No I can't resize the blue square.  The Stanley Ferry and all of the other posts I've done I've had to put all the documentation together at the beginning as the initial pdf.  I'll just keep doing it that way, but I'd noticed that yourself and other people put things in the body of the text aswell which has a better flow.

Hello,

I think it only works with images, not pdfs. But that said, this morning I am having issues with inserting pictures into posts. I was going to post those images of the PMWC manual to show the relationship between projects and programmes, but I'm only getting a small blue dot that then disappears! I'll get in touch with the WildHub Community manager now as I think it must be an issue with the site.

Thanks,

Hello Helen, inserting pictures into posts is working again for me! Perhaps worth trying again to see if it is also fixed now on your account. B
