Thank you so much for sharing this Jack and for telling us your story Lucy. I especially love your mindset that you were actively looking for organisations that put community inclusion at the forefront.

For my own career dreams, and others in the Wildhub community, how do you tackle your own personal ethical dilemma surrounding wanting to work in other countries and support conservation efforts but also avoiding taking away job opportunities from local people and communities (hard question to answer I know) :)

Thank you Lize. Re: community inclusion, I just find organisations on the forefront more interesting to talk to. I'd spend all day interviewing park rangers all over the world if I could figure out how to do it! (Genuinely).

And thank you for the question to follow. I wouldn't worry about the dilemma you describe, countries across the world are starving for expertise, just like we are in the UK in many areas.
