Hello to all members of the Wildhub.
My name is Kabir Adekunle Adelakun. I am from Nigeria, a master's student studying biodiversity conservation, ecosystem services, and climate change adaptation at the African Climate and Environment Centre-Future African Savannas (DAAD Global Centres). Though I do not have a conservation-based background, I am enthusiastic when discussing nature and biodiversity. This has shaped my current career path.
My current research is focused on understanding the drivers of human-wildlife conflicts, which is important to develop a management approach with a focus on nature-based solutions through the Interdisciplinary Science Policy and Practice Interface.
I am happy to be part of this great forum, and I look forward to learning more.
Thank you
ADELAKUN Kabir Adekunle

A warm welcome to WildHub, Ade! Wonderful to have you join us and thank you for sharing about your background. How did you find out about our community if I may ask?

Perhaps of interest to you could be our Conservation Catalyst programme here, which can be a great experience for networking as well as sharing other people’s learnings.

Also, I would recommend joining our member Social events (dates here) which is a great way to get to know other members.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you for your kind words and the information shared. And I love that you chose to call me "Ade." It gives a feeling of home.
I got to know about Wildhub through LinkedIn (Asmita Ranapaheli, who happens to have a connection with Julius Agabi from Nigeria, and he is also a Wildhub member), and honestly, I wish I had come across the platform sooner.
Also, I would like to add that I am eagerly looking for internship and volunteering opportunities to help broaden my experience and skill application.
