Social Science for Conservation Organisations

❓ Are you often the one trying to make the case for including the evidence of people in conservation projects?
❓ Do you wish your organisation considered social science as essential to conservation, rather than a nice to have?
❓ Would you like to have more impact integrating social science into your projects and organisation?
🌟 💡 The Social Science for Conservation Organisations workshop can help you do that 💡 🌟
New for 2025, this training will bring together a small group of social science leaders who share your ambitions to diversify the evidence used to inform and achieve conservation action. You’ll explore some of the opportunities for increasing the acceptance of social science and leave with clear next steps for your organisation to take in 2025.
You’ll receive:
💛 Support from Dr Rebecca Jefferson, an experienced social science leader, to help you identify how you can accelerate change in your organisation
💛 Connection with others who share your ambitions and understand the highs and lows of being a social science catalyst
💛 Protected time to think about what you need to do next. Giving time for those important ideas which often don’t become urgent enough to be worked on
💛 Training on social science foundations for you or a colleague to help you make the case for more people evidence
This online training will include:
▶️ a one-day workshop for a small group of social science leaders focused on helping you overcome some of the key challenges you’re facing
▶️ a one hour one to one mentoring call to help you identify the specific actions for your organisation
▶️ one place on the Essentials of Conservation Social Science online course in 2025 – either for you or for a colleague to help build social science understanding.
🎯 If you want to identify clear actions for your organisation to take in 2025 to increase the engagement with social science evidence this is the springboard you need.
