Role of Gender Equity in Achieving Sustainable Blue Economy Outcomes | The conservation and sustainable use of coastal and marine resources is a critical global challenge, particularly in light of the growing interest in Blue Economy (BE). Therefore, states are developing blue initiatives aimed at promoting the sustainable use of these resources. This process requires multiple partnerships and action-oriented strategies that take into account gender equity in the sustainable development of BE sectors. (...) The aim of the fellowship is to support individuals to develop evidence-based, innovative and interdisciplinary research on the role gender equity plays in achieving sustainable BE outcomes, with emphasis on small-scale fisheries and tropical ecosystems. -
Global Changemaker Fellowship is a 10 month advancement program intended to interface and develop a pipeline of Social Change Leaders who are focused on handling challenges in their local communities. Over the course of the program, the Fellows continue with implementing their initiative while participating in immersive workshops, training and mentorship. The fellowship equips changemakers with an opportunity to get access to global knowledge, community, training and tools to become more effective collaborators of change and grow their initiatives. -
