So finally, after 6 months of hardwork, The Think Wildlife Podcast is finally out. The aim of this podcast is first, to raise awareness for wildlife and second, provide advice to early career conservation across different fields, including journalism, academia, wildlife health and even for those looking for a career change. There has been a large emphasis on the later as we want to encourage more people to enter the conservation field.
In the first episode, I interview Stuart Chapman about his cat quest, the success of TX2, the future of tiger conservation and threats faced by the smaller felines. Stuart Chapman is a renowned conservationist with over three decade of experience, leading many prominent WWF projects in the Indochina region. This includes the Heart of Borneo and Tigers Alive Initiative.
He is on a highly ambitious mission to spot all 40 species of cat in the wild. He has marked off 27 species and is currently in search off the recovering Eurasian Lynx and the elusive Mainland Clouded Leopard.

I have also launched the second and third episodes (more on this later) with Rhett Ayers Butler and Bittu Sahgal, founders of Mongabay and Sanctuary Asia | Sanctuary Nature Foundation. The remainder of the 17 episodes of Season 1 will be releasing on every Wednesday, so follow the podcast below:

This is brilliant Anish what an amazing achievement. Do you have any top tips for other members who are thinking about starting their own podcast?

Thank you!

My advice would be to just do it! Also it is better to edit the episodes immediatly after recording it. It will save time in the long run!
