You’ll find out from our speakers about why we’re mobilising with other organisations for Restore Nature Now, what it’s like to be at a march and what to expect, as well as inspiration and ideas on how to express yourself creatively with your banners and outfits. In addition to this, we’re carving out a section of the evening where you can get stuck into your placard painting – during this time you’ll be able to use the space to talk and ask each other questions.
We know that not everyone can attend the march on the 22nd of June, but that’s not a reason not to get involved. Whether you’re making a banner for the demonstration or creating a poster to display in your window or somewhere else, everyone is welcome. We can’t wait to see you there! If you have any questions about the event, accessibility, or something else, please get in touch via ella.daish@rspb.org.uk
About Restore Nature Now
The Restore Nature Now march is happening on 22nd June at 12PM in London. Find out more here, and pledge to march.
There will be family friendly performance art, sculptures, singing and more for added entertainment for our marchers. The march will be wheelchair accessible and BSL interpreted.
The culmination of the march will see a central ‘rally’ in Parliament Square at around 2.30pm. This will see well-known names and faces speaking to marchers about the political and policy changes we need to see to finally turn the tide for the environment and Restore Nature Now.
