Update; Insurance for Not for Profits!

I have been looking for some simple insurance but it seems like a lot of talk and greenwashing in the corporate sector. Is there a truly green insurer out there or is it picking the best of a bad bunch? UPDATE due to comment below. Thank you! Looking for a company that has a good CSR policy with respect to environmental issues or is selective in its clients (as Triodos is in banking), and also weights the climate crisis more heavily in its risk calculations. If it also offers lower premiums for green clients that would be great!

That's a good question, and one to which I'd also be interested in the answer, but I'm afraid I don't have one. Just some clarifying questions! What do you mean by 'green' when it comes to insurers? Are you looking for a company that a) has a good CSR policy with respect to environmental issues (might there be lists/ratings as there are for consumer items?), or b) is selective in its clients (as Triodos is in banking), or c) weights the climate crisis more heavily in its risk calculations, or d) offers lower premiums for green clients (analogous with health insurance and gym use)? Asking a more specific question may help others here to help you, and offer a window into your own decision-making that we can all benefit from. All the best, Lucy
