What are some of the ways you can bring skills from other parts of your life into your conservation practices?

Working with toddlers require a great amount of patience, taking care of toddlers built my listening skills, patience with others as well as attention to detail. When working in the wild or with communities, I apply same listening skills, patience and attention to detail to effectively communicate and get a desirable feedback.
