Hello everyone, I am Asghar Khan from Pakistan working as volunteer to conserve flora and fauna biodiversity in my district Malakand. I am looking for funding to restore the degraded habitat and to grow native wild edible fruit plants for wild animals as food source as they damage crops and the community are killing them. Thank you in advance.

Hi, Asghar. Are you "watching" the Grant opportunity room? This could be a starting point since you can get notifications when new content is posted. If I hear of anything more specific, I will let you know.
Conservation leadership programme supports project such as yours. It is closed for this year but u can apply in next round. Till then, write to the Rufford foundation. Small grants program running throughout the year.
Hello Asghar Khan,
Thank you for your dedicated efforts to conserve biodiversity in Malakand. Your work to restore degraded habitats and grow native wild edible fruit plants is crucial for maintaining a balance between wildlife and local communities. To secure funding for your noble cause, consider exploring the following avenues:
Grant Opportunities:
Look for grants provided by environmental organizations, wildlife foundations, and government agencies that support conservation initiatives. Many organizations offer grants specifically aimed at habitat restoration and wildlife conservation.
Crowdfunding:
Create a crowdfunding campaign to reach a broader audience. Platforms like GoFundMe or Kickstarter can help you share your story and connect with individuals passionate about wildlife conservation.
Local Partnerships:
Collaborate with local businesses, NGOs, or government bodies that may share an interest in environmental conservation. Establishing partnerships can lead to financial support and additional resources.
Government Grants:
Explore grants offered by government departments related to environmental affairs. They often have funding opportunities for projects aligned with biodiversity conservation.
Online Advocacy:
Use social media and online platforms to raise awareness about your cause. Engage with the global community interested in conservation, and you may find support from individuals or organizations with similar missions.
Remember to clearly communicate your project's objectives, expected outcomes, and how the funds will be utilized. Highlighting the positive impact on both wildlife and the local community can resonate well with potential donors. Best of luck with your fundraising efforts, and may your endeavors contribute to a healthier and more sustainable ecosystem.
