About Ruth Holwell
My day job is as administrator for a studio and broadcasting company. This involves production coordination and marketing. I also volunteer for Conservation without Borders, helping to plan a couple of projects and writing newsletters. I'm on WildHub to network in the hope of finding future projects to assist with.
I have an MSci in Wild Animal Biology from the Royal Veterinary College and the Zoological Society of London and my key interests relate to biomechanics and wildlife surveillance. Following my degree's research projects, I have good computing skills include GIS and basic coding in Mathematica. My writing is currently mostly aimed at marketing and comms roles, but I have also been trained by a professional bid writer and understand the technicality of grant proposals.
I developed my engagement skills through 6 years experience in public-facing and fundraising (tele-fundraiser, door-to-door) jobs. To complement this I am experienced in various management software packages including CRM (Salesforce), RMS (Current), and PMS (Asana).

Hi, I'm excited to advertise a role at the organisation I work for, Conservation Without Borders.
We are looking for a Research Manager who will coordinate all research for two groundbreaking expeditions; the Round Britain Climate Challenge promoting UK climate action in the lead up to COP26, and the Flight Of The Osprey creating an international database of ecosystem samples while promoting local conservation along the osprey flightpath from Scotland to Ghana.

Please get in touch if you think that your skillset matches the role and you would be interested in this expedition based challenge.
Thanks,
Ruth
