Thanks for sharing @Jack Cole - lovely interview!
Question: where do you get your inspiration from on who to interview next?
Would be great if you could invite Sofia to the hub so she can be added as a contributor :)
Hi Thirza, thank you!
I have just invited Sofia. I generally follow some interesting themes from Restore Our Planet's work such as two Dutch researchers & practitioners I'll be having on next to discuss the decades of wilding work they have been involved with. Or I just come across someone interesting online and just send them a message!
This is amazing! If you want to include data collection and mapping software with this program... please reach out to me ... I would love to be part of this! asleeman@watchspotterpro.com ! Thanks for all that you do! Cheers
Hello Anne. Thank you for your kind words! I think the person to talk to would be Dan who is available at info@searangers.org best of luck!
Congrats @Jack Cole ! It's always great seeing your post because of the wealth of knowledge and awesome topics. Do you mind us using this photo for social media?
Hello Chrissy. Thank you for your kind words! Yes, no problem at all :)
Congrats, Jack!
Thank you Lara!
Kudos jack, I am also a media content creator. Looking forward to collaborating with you on Wildhub to create more contents and drive engagements.
Thank you Clinton. Might you be interested in taking part in a recording? What is your area of expertise?
Oh wow! Thank you so much Thirza!
Very unexpected. Thank you for taking the time to put this together!
Thanks for sharing this interview! It brings up some valuable concepts. I like the idea of simplifying complex issues creatively and visually. Story-telling is so beneficial to making connections and finding effective solutions. Just a note: I watched the video with captions, and some mistakes could impact a reader's understanding of the video. The biggest thing to note is the misspelling of Giuseppe's company.
Hi Lara, thank you for your feedback and thoughts on the interview. I think Giuseppe came across really well with his tips. I'm a little confused regarding captions as I did not add any, were you using the Youtube automated subtitles?
Thank you so much for sharing this Jack and for telling us your story Lucy. I especially love your mindset that you were actively looking for organisations that put community inclusion at the forefront.
For my own career dreams, and others in the Wildhub community, how do you tackle your own personal ethical dilemma surrounding wanting to work in other countries and support conservation efforts but also avoiding taking away job opportunities from local people and communities (hard question to answer I know) :)
Thank you Lize. Re: community inclusion, I just find organisations on the forefront more interesting to talk to. I'd spend all day interviewing park rangers all over the world if I could figure out how to do it! (Genuinely).
And thank you for the question to follow. I wouldn't worry about the dilemma you describe, countries across the world are starving for expertise, just like we are in the UK in many areas.
