Hello,

We are onto the final week of this PMWC online training workshop. It has been a pleasure working with you all so far.

THIS WEEK

This week's video is here. There are three main parts to it:

1. What does this mean for your work

Learning PMWC and passing the exam is all very well and good, but it isn't that alone that will help you have impact. One key exercise in this training workshop is reflecting on what you've learnt and thinking about how you will apply it to current and future work using this sheet. We've looked at it already in live sessions, but haven't filled out all the tabs.

2. Mock exam

This one isn’t under exam conditions, but you can make it exam like if you want. You will be able to review your answers when you have finished. Click here to begin.

3. Revision

Here is a document with revision ideas in.

EXAM

The exam is on the MONDAY 29th June at either 8.30 am BST  / 5 pm ACST and 5 pm BST/ 10 am MDT, we've added a second time slot for the exam on Tuesday 30th at 5 pm BST / 10 am MDT. Use the normal zoom link for both sessions. I'll explain how it works in the session (it is very similar to the mock exam).

APPLYING YOUR SKILLS SESSION

On the 3rd of August at 6 pm BST we are running a PMWC applying your skills session. The session is completely optional and the purpose is to help you implement PMWC theory and tools on your projects by sharing lessons learned and co-creating solutions to any challenges you might be having with project management related topics. This is open to all WildTeam PMWC alumni. I'll send out details via the WildHub WildTeam alumni group which I will invite you to soon.

If you have any questions or concerns about the exam please get in touch.

With Wild Wishes,

Beth

WildLearning Specialist, WildTeam

I'm a WildLearning Specialist with WildTeam, a bit of a odd job title. My main role is to design, deliver and organise both our online and class-based training workshops. One of the best parts of my job is meeting other conservationists and learning about the work that they do. I really enjoy geeking out reading teaching theory and thinking about ways I can more creatively and engagingly deliver learning. Before working for WildTeam I did a PhD in invasive plants and human wildlife interactions. I find it really interesting to learn about the ways people interact with nature, both when nature is being wonderful, but also when is is being a bit annoying!

How long will the exam last?

1 hour, then an extra 15 minutes for those who have extra time. In the live session, I'll spend about 15 -20 minutes setting everything up and making sure everyone knows what is happening.

Hope you have a good weekend.
