I'm Rachael, nice to meet you!
I am the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust. My favourite thing about the role is that I get to work with teams across the organisation, from field teams in Madagascar and India to our training and education teams in Jersey, designing systems that help us to understand the difference we make.
At university, I studied psychology and behavioural ecology, and I enjoy combining aspects of both the natural and social sciences in my work today. Before settling back in the UK, I spent a couple of years working in South Africa and Madagascar. My best wildlife memory is sitting in a forest in Madagascar listening to the call of the indri echoing above.
