On Thursday 24th February, we will be watching ‘Gardeners of the Ecosystem’ by Kenyan wildlife photographer and filmmaker, Feisal Malik. The short documentary discovers the positive impact that Elephants have on the ecosystem through their feeding habits and their lifestyle. We learn how other species benefit from the presence of Elephants, a keystone species. Filmed in Kenya’s Selenkay Conservancy, the film won the highly honored award at the 2021 Benjamin Mkapa Awards. The film will be introduced by Feisal and after the screenings, Dr Paula Kahumbu will moderate a Q&A with him.
