We may amend these Terms of Use from time to time. Non-material changes, such as clarifications, improvements to wording, or updates that do not affect your rights or obligations, will take effect when published on this page.
Where changes are material and affect your rights or obligations, we will notify you and, where required by law, ask you to review and accept the updated Terms of Use before they take effect. You are responsible for checking this page regularly to ensure you are familiar with the current version.

2.1 Who operates this Website
The Website (wildhub.community) is owned and operated by WildHub, a foundation (stichting) registered in the Netherlands with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel) under KvK registration number 99075806, with its registered office at Slegersstraat 98, 5706 AZ, Helmond, the Netherlands.
2.2 Platform provider
The online platform technology is provided by Zapnito, which acts as the platform provider and data processor hosting the technical infrastructure on which WildHub operates. Zapnito is a limited company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 08406532), with its registered office at 86–90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom.
2.3 Data processing
Zapnito processes personal data on behalf of WildHub in accordance with the Data Processing Agreement included in our contract with Zapnito.
3. Practical information
3.1 Cookies
This Website uses cookies in accordance with our Cookies Policy. Cookies help us understand how the Website is used and improve your experience. Where required by law, we ask for your consent to the use of non-essential cookies through a cookie banner or similar mechanism. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time as described in our Cookies Policy.

4.1 How you may use the Website
By accessing any part of this Website, you agree:

(b) not to use this Website in any way which is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose or activity, that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation;
(c) not to upload, display or transmit any materials through this Website which are false, offensive, defamatory, threatening, obscene, unlawful or which infringe the rights of any other person anywhere in the world;
(d) not to reverse engineer, decompile, copy or adapt any software or other code or scripts forming part of this Website or use this Website to copy, store, host, transmit, send, use, publish or distribute any material which consists of (or is linked to) any spyware, computer virus, Trojan horse, worm, keystroke logger, root-kit or other malicious computer software;
(e) not to change, modify, delete, interfere with or misuse data contained on this Website and entered by or relating to any third party user of this Website
(f) not to use this Website to transmit or send unsolicited commercial communications; and
(g) not to use this Website for any purposes related to marketing without WildHub's express written consent.
4.2 Unsolicited commercial communications
For clarity, “unsolicited commercial communications” includes promotional content sent to users without their request or consent. 4.3 Private Rooms and confidentiality
Users participating in WildHub’s private spaces (“Rooms”) must respect all confidentiality rules applicable within those spaces. Content shared in private Rooms must not be circulated externally without explicit permission from the content owner.
5. Use of the Website From Outside the Netherlands
5.1 International access
WildHub welcomes visitors from around the world. However, we make no representation that the Website or its content is appropriate or available for use in all jurisdictions.
5.2 Compliance with local laws
If you access the Website from outside the Netherlands, you are responsible for compliance with all applicable local laws.
5.3 Unlawful use
If use of the Website breaches any law in your jurisdiction, you must stop using the Website immediately.
6. Intellectual Property and Use of Content
6.1 Ownership of content
All material on the Website — including text, images, photographs, videos, graphics, and all other content — is protected by copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights held by WildHub or by individuals or organisations licensing those rights to us.

You acquire no rights in the Website other than the limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms of Use.

Subject to the restrictions below, you may view, download, print and share content from the Website for:
(a) your personal use;
(b) internal circulation within your organisation; and

(i) WildHub is clearly attributed as the source of the material;
(ii) the material is not modified or used in a misleading way;
(iii) all copyright or proprietary notices remain intact.
6.4 Restricted uses

(b) reproduce, duplicate, copy or otherwise exploit material on this Website for a commercial purpose without WildHub’s express written consent;
(c) use content from private Rooms or restricted areas outside those contexts without permission.

WildHub reserves all rights in the Website and its content.
7. Your Account and Password
7.1 Account security
If you choose, or WildHub provides you with a user identification code, password, or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, to enable you to access restricted areas of this Website or other content or services, you must ensure that such information is kept confidential and are not disclosed to any third party.
7.2 Responsibility for account activity
You are responsible for all activities carried out under your account.
If you believe that someone else knows your password or has unauthorised access to your account, you must notify us immediately at hello@wildhub.community.
7.3 Suspension or disabling of accounts
WildHub reserves the right to disable any user identification code, password or account — whether chosen by you or allocated by us — if, in our reasonable opinion, you have breached any of these Terms of Use.
7.4 Restricted access
Access to certain areas of the Website, including private Rooms, may be restricted. WildHub reserves the right to restrict access at its sole discretion.
8. Uploading Content to the Website
8.1 Definition of user content
In these Terms of Use, “user content” means any material you submit to the Website, including (but not limited to) text, images, audio, video, links, files, and comments.
8.2 Compliance with content standards
Whenever you make use of a feature that allows you to upload content to our site or to make contact with other users of our Website, you must comply with:

8.3 User warranties and liability
You warrant that any such contribution does comply with those standards, and you will be liable to us and indemnify us for any breach of that warranty.
8.4 Licence granted to WildHub and users
Any content you upload will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary (subject to copyright ownership). You retain ownership of your content, but you grant WildHub and other users an unlimited, worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:

For the avoidance of doubt, this licence does not affect your rights under applicable data protection laws, including your right to request deletion of your account or personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8.5 Enforcement of content rights
You also grant WildHub the right to take legal action for infringement of these rights.
8.6 Content legality requirements
Your user content must not be illegal or unlawful, must not infringe any third party's legal rights, and must not be capable of giving rise to legal action whether against you or WildHub or a third party (in each case under any applicable law).
8.7 Disclosure of user identity
We also have the right to disclose your identity to any third party who is claiming that any content posted or uploaded by you to our site constitutes a violation of their intellectual property rights, or of their right to privacy.
8.8 Content subject to legal claims
You must not submit any user content to the Website that is or has ever been the subject of any threatened or actual legal proceedings or other similar complaint.
8.9 No responsibility for user content
We (WildHub) will not be responsible, or liable to any third party, for the content or accuracy of any content posted by you or any other user of our Website.
8.10 Moderation and removal of content
We have the right to edit or remove any user content you submit to our Website or host or publish upon our Website if, in our opinion, your user content does not comply with the content standards set out above.
8.11 User views disclaimer
The views expressed by other users on our Website do not represent our views or values.
8.12 User responsibility for backups
You are solely responsible for securing and backing up your content.
8.13 No obligation to monitor content
Notwithstanding WildHub’s rights under these Terms of Use in relation to user content, WildHub cannot and does not monitor the submission of all such content to, or the publication of such content on, this Website.
9. User Content
9.1 Use of collaborative features
Some Website features, such as collaborative spaces, allow users to upload or edit content created by themselves or other users. By using these features, you confirm that:
(a) you created the content or have permission from the creator to submit it;
(b) all uploaded content is accurate, not misleading, not defamatory and complies with applicable laws;
(c) you understand WildHub does not actively monitor user-generated edits;
(d) WildHub may remove content at any time, including in response to complaints regarding defamation, privacy, or intellectual property concerns.
9.2 Relationship to uploading content rules
These provisions apply in addition to the general Uploading Content rules (Section 8).
10. Personal Data
10.1 Processing of personal data
If you supply personal data through the Website, WildHub will collect, store and use it in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws (including the GDPR (AVG)).
10.2 Data controller and processor
WildHub is the data controller for personal data processed on the Website. Zapnito acts as our data processor, providing the technical platform and hosting infrastructure.

11. Search Engines, Indexing, and Data Persistence
11.1 Search engine indexing
Content posted on public areas of the Website (including user profiles and public posts) may be indexed by search engines such as Google, Bing or others. WildHub does not control how long such content remains cached, indexed or visible through third-party search tools.
11.2 Persistence of deleted content
If you delete your account or content, WildHub will remove it from the Website; however, copies may still appear in search engine results for a period of time outside WildHub’s control.
11.3 Public nature of content
Users should consider the public nature of the Website before posting any information that could create personal, professional or safety risks if displayed outside the WildHub environment.
11.4 Support for safety concerns
If a user faces safety concerns as a result of search engine indexing, WildHub will take reasonable steps within our control to support the requester, but cannot guarantee removal from third-party search results.
Where a valid request is made, WildHub will remove personal data from its own systems in accordance with applicable data protection laws and as further described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Availability and Liability
12.1 Website availability
Due to the nature of the internet, WildHub cannot guarantee that the Website or any linked websites will always be available.
12.2 User security responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that you have appropriate virus protection and security measures in place.
12.3 Accuracy of content
Although WildHub makes reasonable efforts to keep Website information accurate and up-to-date, all content (including user-generated content) is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no representations, warranties or guarantees that content is accurate, complete, up-to-date, true, non-misleading or reliable.
12.4 Use at own risk
Where you rely on any information or other material contained in this Website, you do so entirely at your own risk and you accept that all warranties, conditions and undertakings, express or implied, whether by common law, statute, trade usage, course of dealings or otherwise in respect of this Website are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

WildHub excludes all liability, to the fullest extent permitted by law, for any loss or damage arising from:

13. Limitations of Liability
13.1 Scope of liability limitations
WildHub will not be liable to you (whether under the law of contract, the law of torts or otherwise) in relation to the contents of, or use of, or otherwise in connection with, this Website:

any direct loss arising from use of the Website where the relevant service is provided free of charge,

any indirect, special or consequential loss, or

for any business losses, loss of revenue, income, profits or anticipated savings, loss of contracts or business relationships, loss of reputation or goodwill, or loss or corruption of information or data.
13.2 Awareness of potential loss
These limitations apply even if WildHub has been expressly advised of the potential loss.
13.3 Legal exceptions
Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability where such limitation is unlawful under Dutch law (e.g., fraud, intentional misconduct, or death/personal injury caused by negligence).
14. Reasonableness
14.1 Reasonableness of limitations
By using this Website, you agree that the exclusions and limitations of liability set out in these Terms of Use are reasonable.
14.2 Consequences of non-acceptance
If you do not think these provisions are reasonable, you must not use the Website.
15. Other Parties
15.1 Limitation of personal liability
As a foundation (stichting) with limited liability, WildHub has an interest in limiting the personal liability of its officers, directors, employees and volunteers.
You agree that you will not bring any claim personally against these individuals in relation to any losses suffered in connection with the Website, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
15.2 Protection of third parties
Without prejudice to the foregoing paragraph, you agree that the limitations of warranties and liability set out in this Website disclaimer will protect WildHub's officers, employees, agents, subsidiaries, successors, assigns, sub-contractors, service providers (including Zapnito) as well as WildHub.
16. Unenforceable Provisions
If any provision of these Terms of Use is, or is found to be, unenforceable under applicable law, that will not affect the enforceability of the other provisions of these Terms of Use.
17. Indemnity
You hereby indemnify (protect) WildHub and undertake to keep WildHub indemnified (protected) against any losses, damages, costs, liabilities and expenses (including without limitation legal expenses and any amounts paid by WildHub to a third party in settlement of a claim or dispute on the advice of WildHub's legal advisers) incurred or suffered by WildHub arising out of any breach by you of any provision of these Terms of Use, or arising out of any claim that you have breached any provision of these Terms of Use. This indemnity includes amounts paid by WildHub in settlement of a dispute, on the advice of legal advisers.
18. Breaches of These Terms
Without prejudice to WildHub’s other rights under these Terms of Use, if you breach these Terms of Use in any way, WildHub may take such action as WildHub reasonably deems appropriate to deal with the breach. This may include suspending your access to the Website, permanently prohibiting you from accessing the Website, blocking computers or IP addresses associated with your account from accessing the Website, contacting your internet service provider to request that they block your access to the Website, removing content you have uploaded, notifying third parties of the breach; and/or initiating legal proceedings.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and WildHub regarding your use of the Website.
These Terms supersede all previous agreements relating to your use of the Website.
20. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
20.1 Governing law
These Terms of Use and your use of the Website are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands.
20.2 Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
