Engaging Stakeholders exercise
Hi everyone. As I've never worked in conservation and never had the chance to develop a strategy, I based the exercise on Twala Trust Animal Sanctuary project in Zimbabwe.
Twala Trust have four main objectives :
- Providing veterinary care and food support to rural dogs among the villages and among families (who then are able to have the companionship of the dog without the financial disadvantages).
- Rescue and rehabilitate a variety of injured, orphaned, displaced animals, and releasing them to the wild if possible (with the help and expertise of conservationist groups).
- Education and raising community awareness.
Here are my tables. It's all based on my personal intuitions. Please make any suggestions !
By the way, not sure to make the difference between ownership and support, if anyone can help me clarify.
