About Wild Commons

Wild Commons is a YouTube channel for nature and environmental cinema - a place where great films about the living world can find the audience they deserve, and people get to watch them totally free of change.

The honest reason we built it: the distribution system for nature and environmental film is pretty broken. Brilliant, award-winning work gets made, does the festival rounds, and then largely disappears — seen by a handful of people and forgotten.

We think the stories told through nature and environmental film really matter. They change how people see things, spark conversations, and deepen our connection to the planet. Wild Commons exists to make sure those films don't just vanish.
