  • In this webinar, conservation leaders discuss how their organisations change

  • Change requires collaboration - practices need to align with the organisation's mission/goals. The webinar participants discuss possible outcomes when these don’t align. 

  • The value of communication

  • Organisational model may evolve to meet new needs

  • How situations can impact finances (eg Covid) at a global, local, and organisational scale

  • Risk Management Processes (identify risk, assess risk, control risk, review controls)

  • Adjust to situations (managing and reducing crisis situations) - financial stabilisation, staff motivation, keep running, resilience & recovery (adaptation)

  • Discussion of formalising and growing an organisation (includes problems faced & how to address)

  • Change driven by transparency, determination, & support 

  • The benefits of empowering local communities
