ZSL Youth Advisory Board Launching
The voluntary group will be tasked with advising ZSL's Executive Committee on how they can best incorporate the needs and views of young people, to ensure young people are empowered and engaged with ZSL’s vision.
Applications to join the Board are now open. Applicants must meet the following criteria to apply:
- Be between 16-25 years old on the 20th May 2023
- Be able to regularly attend meetings in Central London, some at short notice. Travel expenses will be reimbursed, but this will be capped at £14.50.
We welcome applications from all backgrounds and celebrate the value of having a team with diverse skills, experiences, and backgrounds. As such we actively encourage applications from disabled and ethnic minority candidates, as well as those from low income households, as those demographics are currently under-represented across ZSL.

I lead the Institutional Fundraising Team at ZSL, working with colleagues across our Science, Conservation and Zoo directorates to raise grants from charitable trusts and foundations, lottery, statutory and bi/multi-lateral funders.
I've been at ZSL since 2018 but have been working in fundraising for the NfPs since 2007. Relationship and grants fundraising are my specialisms but I have also managed RG and Corporate fundraising functions.
