About Petchrung (Aey) Sukpong
With an academic background in environmental planning for community and rural development, I have high level of program management and technical support experience in international organizations in Southeast Asia with a focus on natural resources management, environmental planning, coastal zone management, and enhancing communities utilize natural resources to sustain their livelihood. Furthermore, I have been working with multiple stakeholders in relation with coastal zone management and UNEP environmentally friendly diving standard, such as Green Fins, Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, diving and snorkelling operators to reduce an impact from tourism on coral reef. I also worked on thematic programs such as natural resources conservation especailly seagrass and coral habitat, coastal resilience, community development, and market system development for poor.
