About Bassey Kingsley Effiong

Bassey Kingsley Effiong completed his B.Sc in Zoology and Environmental Biology and Masters degree in Entomology at the University of Calabar. This however set the tone for a career in Biodiversity conservation, where he started out at Pandrillus as a volunteer conservation. Bassey has a keen interest in Wildlife conservation/Research and he is very passionate about wildlife conservation and the preservation of various aspects of our ecosystems. He is currently working with WCS Nigeria to protect and conserve the Oban Division of the Cross River National Park. Bassey is a Member of the British Ecological society. His research on Arthropod communities of the great kwa river mangrove was published in 2013
