I am Theodore Nshimiyumuremyi, a graduate of Zoology and conservation from University of Rwanda. I am currently working as Community Extension Officer Albertine Rift Conservation Society (ARCOSNetwork). I am highly interested in community outreach and development. I stand for fair and equitable interaction of nature and people.
I'm a marine ecologist passionate about communication and engaging local communities in shifting towards environmental sustainability. Looking forward to expand my career from academia to work at a wildlife conservation organization. I believe the wildhub community is a good place to get inspired. PhD in Animal Science. Experience in teaching, advanced statistics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), sampling and identification of estuarine and marine fauna (plankton, macroinvertebrates and fish), stable isotope analysis and otolith microstructure. I enjoy working in an international environment where I can continuously learn and apply my broad set of skills ranging from research, teaching, communication, and languages.
