Craig Cooper

Assistant Forest Ranger, Heart of England Forest

About Craig Cooper

I've been working as a ranger in England for about 10 years now, mostly for the National Trust but currently for a relatively new, small forestry charity called Heart of England Forest.

I've run teams of volunteers, managed small scale projects, provided training in a range of rural activities such as dry stone walling and hedgelaying but recently my biggest project is planting trees for 6 months.

When I'm not working, I'm playing the piano, out riding my mountain bike, doing calligraphy or most often, in the kitchen, cooking.

I've joined Wildhub as a way of taking part in the Project Management in Wildlife Conservation course, with the intention of progressing my career.
