About Dignity Mduduzi Muntuwani Nyathi

Dignity is an accountant by training with over a decade of experience in grant and financial management. Currently, he is working with partners to improve infrastructure at the Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe towards the fulfillment of the Great Limpopo Trans-Frontier Park (GLTFP) dream that seeks to cover at least 35 000km2 of protected wilderness area. The GLTFP seeks to combine the Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe, the Limpopo National Park in Mozambique, and the Kruger National Park in South Africa.

Dignity has worked in the developmental sector for about 16 years with experience in helping manage about USD44 million in his career working with partners such as USAID, FCDO (formerly DFID), AusAID, UNFPA, UNITAID, and The European Commission. He has worked on many developmental causes which include rural development, WASH, Food Aid, HIV & AIDS prevention, mitigation and research, Orphaned and Vulnerable Children, the youth, Agriculture, Conservation Agriculture, Human Rights, and most recently branched into wildlife conservation.

He seeks to broaden his horizon into the conservation ecosystem and to understand the developmental issues in the conservation sector. He also intends to network and share knowledge and experiences with various practitioners and actors in the sector.
