I am currently a doctoral student at the Interdepartmental Doctoral Program in Anthropological Sciences (IDPAS) at Stony Brook University, New York State, U.S.

Since June 2019, I am the coordinator of the Red Colobus Conservation Network under the Primates Specialist Group of the Species Survival Commission of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN SSC-PSG), Re:wild (https://www.rewild.org/team/florence-aghomo) and the African Primatological Society.

Here, I am responsible for sourcing collaboration with conservation partners and organizations, fundraising (including project proposal elaboration and review).
