About Gervais Muderhwa
Gervais Muderhwa is Project Officer and Director of the Environment, Conservation and Climate Change Department at MKAAJI MPYA asbl, an organisation working in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He is also a junior researcher at the Anganza Institute Research Centre and an independent consultant in the field of the environment, particularly conservation. To date, he has carried out floristic and faunistic inventory studies in the Kahuzi Biega national park, as well as other major conservation projects that place local communities and indigenous peoples at the centre of all conservation initiatives.
