About Jessicah Kurere
I am a Kenyan veterinarian who loves living with, and working to support rural pastoralist communities in Kenya.
I find health challenges in rural pastoralist communities living at the domestic animal-wildlife interphase unique, fascinating, complex and often neglected. My hope is to support both people, domestic and wild animals in this interphase.
I currently supporting efforts in disease epidemiology, surveillance and modelling at the domestic-wild carnivore interphase for domestic carnivore welfare, wildlife carnivore conservation and public health of the Samburu pastoralist community in Northern Kenya.
