About Katie Hawkes
My primary focus growing up was the arts and I hold a BA in Fine Art.
Nature however has always played a key role in my day to day and even when creating art work it always derives a theme from the natural world around us whether that be political or just observational.
I currently hole a position within a school as a technician and have vast knowledge of education with various age groups.
I am very interested in making a career swap that will allow me to combine my strengths within the arts, various skills gained from working within in a variety of educational platforms and passion for nature.
Training and opportunities of advancement are very welcome!
I volunteer with the parks trust (events and conservation), Greens and Trust (Site Warden and Conservation) and UKBMS (Wider Butterfly Country Side Surveyor).
