About Nicola Carruthers
I am a Zambian ecologist, mother of two, and rather nomadic across the country with homes in Lusaka and the Lower Luangwa Valley. I have spent the past decade working for NFPs, NGOs and private entities in the environmental conservation sector in Zambia. I started my own company in 2023 to focus on what really matters to me: appropriate fire & habitat management, and human-wildlife coexistence.
