About Sérgio Cumbula

I live in Maputo, Mozambique. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry Engineering and a Master's degree in Biodiversity Management and Conservation from the Faculty of Agronomy and Forestry Engineering at Eduardo Mondlane University. Since 2019 I’ve been working as an Ecological Restoration Assistant in Elephant Coast Landscape, surround to the Maputo National Park. Therefore, I'd like to improve my skills to boost my conservation career. For this reason, I joined wildHub to gain training in Monitoring and Evaluation for Wildlife Conservation that will help me to Improve my performance in my current position and gain access to new opportunities. The wildHub community is also a good forum to expand my networking. My passions are in ecological restoration and conservation, ecosystem-based adaptation to climate change and ecosystem service and wellbeing.
