About Silvia Ribeiro

I am a biologist working in the LGD Program developed by Grupo Lobo (Portugal) since 1996. I have gained experience in Man-Wolf conflict mitigation, particularly through the use of livestock guarding dogs (LGDs) to prevent damage by wolves. I have training in animal welfare and a Masters in ethology focusing on the ontogeny of social preferences in LGDs. I am currently concluding a PhD on the behavior and physiological aspects of canine social attachment.
