On behalf of the Women in Conservation Canterbury Network (WCCN), we invite you to our exciting event: “Accelerate Action in Gender Equality” in celebration of International Women’s Day 2025. This event will take place next Friday, March 7th, from 5-7pm, in the Social Space above Woody’s Bar, at the University of Kent campus, and is open to all interested individuals!

We are thrilled to announce that we have eight incredible speakers lined up to share their experiences and insights on accelerating action towards gender equality within the conservation field. Our talks will span a range of important topics, featuring perspectives from our current staff and alumnae on Women in Education & Mentorship, Women in Leadership, Women in Fundraising, and Inclusive Science Events. Additionally, we’ll highlight the work of some of our current students in the areas of Women in Agriculture, and Gender in Conservation.
