Asian Species Action Partnership (ASAP) species are some of the most at risk of extinction on the planet. The ASAP Species Conservation Grants are designed to support ASAP Partners in their efforts to conserve ASAP species and their habitats. To be considered for an ASAP Species Conservation Grant, an organisation must be an existing ASAP Partner. To become an ASAP Partner please here for more information https://www.speciesonthebrink.org/be-an-asap-partner/

The priority for ASAP Species Conservation Grants are:

  • projects within Southeast Asia, but priority conservation actions for ASAP species outside this region will be considered where there is strong justification
  • projects submitted by national organisations and those where the Project Lead is from the country in which the conservation actions take place
  • species that are receiving less conservation attention globally than is average for ASAP species, and to applications making a clear case that the species in question is severely under-supported globally

For full details on what the grant programme will support and on eligibility, please visit here  https://www.speciesonthebrink.org/asap-grants/asap-species-conservation-grants-2022/

Proposals must provide clear justification as to how the activities will support ASAP species conservation and deliver on conservation outcomes.

Proposals should be submitted in Singapore Dollars for a maximum of SGD13,500 and the duration of the ASAP-funded project or project component should be 12 months or less.
