Wow, I ❤️ hiking the PNW!!

I'm a student on the Oregon Coast transferring to OSU this fall for Wildlife Biology.  Since I moved here from the East Coast a year and a half ago, I've been hitting parks all over in California, Washington, Idaho, Montana & Canada (and of course, Oregon). 😁

I'm here on advice from Dr. Stephanie Manka (Schuttler) to network and hopefully gain advice.

Meanwhile, I've been peeking in on your contributions whenever I get my notifications.

Welcome to WildHub, Christopher! It's great to have you join us.

I share your love for the PNW! I am based in Sweden but visit as often as I can. Ah the world-class wildlife you have the privilege to share land with!

Are you seeking advice about anything in particular? Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions

Hi, Flavia and takk!

I'm halfway through my bachelor's, so my biggest worry is making myself competitive in the job market later and if I should spread the type of classes I take around or try and specialize.

Gotcha! I guess that really depends - what type of jobs will you be applying to after you graduate? I work in academia, so I may be biased :) perhaps better to start a discussion here so others can join in?
