This practical, online training programme is designed to support conservation professionals working in complex, real-world contexts - including NGO programmes, community-based conservation, research projects, and multi-stakeholder initiatives.

The course focuses on helping participants:

  • plan and deliver effective communications for conservation projects
  • communicate clearly with diverse audiences, partners, and funders
  • strengthen visibility and support for conservation work
  • understand what communications approaches are working, and why
  • improve employability and career progression within the sector

The training is suitable for:

  • conservation professionals working in NGOs, trusts, and consultancies
  • early-career practitioners and graduates
  • researchers and project staff with communications responsibilities
  • career switchers entering conservation roles

Participants can enrol in the individual course or access it via CC Pass, which provides access to Conservation Careers’ wider programme of professional development training.
